Follow the progress of PRECISE as the project moves from planning and method development to icing wind tunnel campaigns, data analysis, validation and public dissemination.

• First NASA propeller icing campaign
  The first propeller icing test campaign is planned at the NASA Glenn Icing Research Tunnel using the medium-scale propeller. The results will support comparison with later RTA testing and help guide scaling method development.
• First interfacility comparison activities
  Early project activities include comparison work between icing facilities using a NACA0012 wing section. This helps characterise potential facility differences before propeller test campaigns are compared.
• Project Launch – July 2025
  PRECISE officially begins. The project will investigate propeller icing scaling through coordinated experimental and numerical research involving Austrian partners and NASA. The project runs from July 2025 to June 2028.
